Hay man, back in the 60s, man, I used to hear about the generation gap. It was all about the lack of common ground between the former teenagers of the 40s relating to the teenagers of the 60s.
The snowman is transgenerational. My grandfather told me stories of him and his grandfather making snowmen together. My granddaughters love snowmen. What is it about Frosty that bridges the gap? It is creature creating. From the "dust" of snow we roll something into a sculpture. Stick arms seem like they were grown just for him. Rock smiles make him look so innocent.
